Motorcycle Rental in Tenerife

The Most Beautiful Motorcycle Routes in Tenerife

Riding a motorcycle in Tenerife is much more than just a journey. It’s a blend of emotion, freedom, and connection with nature that cars simply can’t offer. Every route has its own unique character and lets you discover the island from a completely new perspective.

Masca – the legendary mountain route full of emotions

The route to the village of Masca is a true symbol of Tenerife and a must for every rider. The winding road constantly climbs through steep mountain slopes, and therefore each turn reveals a new, breathtaking view. Along the way, you pass mountain passes, green valleys, and cliffs that add a thrilling edge to the ride. What’s more, the changing scenery ensures every moment feels fresh and memorable. It’s also worth stopping at Mirador de Cherfe, where you can enjoy a stunning panorama of the entire valley. Thanks to this, you’ll have a chance to rest and admire one of the island’s most beautiful landscapes.

Punta del Teno – the road to the lighthouse at the edge of the island

The road to Punta del Teno is one of the most picturesque motorcycle routes in Tenerife. It runs along dramatic cliffs and the ocean, offering spectacular views and a touch of adrenaline. Along the way, you pass rugged rocks, sweeping bends, and scenic viewpoints overlooking Los Gigantes. At the end, you’ll find a charming lighthouse and a wild beach, perfect for a short rest. However, the road is closed between 10:00 and 19:00, so it’s best to plan your ride ahead of time to make the most of this unique route.

El Teide – through the heart of the volcano

A motorcycle trip to El Teide National Park is an essential part of exploring the island. The road gradually passes through several climate zones – from humid laurel forests to the dry, lunar landscape surrounding the volcano. As a result, you can experience the island’s full diversity in just one day. Moreover, the smooth asphalt and wide bends make riding this route effortless and enjoyable. Stop at Mirador de La Ruleta to admire the volcano in all its majestic beauty.

Anaga – the magical north of Tenerife

The route through the Anaga Rural Park is perfect for those seeking nature and peace. Narrow roads twist between mountains, laurel forests, and low clouds, creating a truly mystical atmosphere. Moreover, the weather changes constantly, meaning no two rides look the same – sometimes you’ll be riding in sunshine, and minutes later in mist. Stop at one of the viewpoints or in the small village of Taganana to enjoy a coffee while admiring the ocean. Thanks to this, the route combines nature, emotion, and the tranquil charm of northern Tenerife.

Vilaflor – peace, altitude, and the scent of pines

The route through Vilaflor is ideal for riders who value calmness, nature, and quiet roads away from crowds. It winds through the highest village on Tenerife, surrounded by pine forests and scenic bends. Thanks to this, the air is filled with the refreshing scent of pines, giving the trip a unique character. Moreover, gentle climbs and smooth turns make the route relaxing and enjoyable. Stop for a coffee in one of the local cafés to feel the authentic rhythm of mountain life. Such moments help you truly experience the peaceful pace of Tenerife.

Each of these routes shows a different face of the island. Whether you seek adrenaline, nature, or peaceful landscapes, riding a motorcycle in Tenerife will fill your journey with unforgettable experiences.

How to Ride Safely and Enjoy Every Moment – Motorcycle Rental in Tenerife

Safety is the foundation of every journey, especially on an island full of curves, slopes, and changing weather. Here are a few practical tips to help you enjoy your ride without stress.

    Dress for the conditions

Tenerife has several microclimates – within one day you can ride from the hot south to cool, damp mountains. Take a motorcycle jacket, gloves, and a light raincoat. Thanks to this, you’ll always be prepared for any weather conditions.

Always keep your fuel tank full

Not every mountain road has a petrol station nearby. Fill up before heading towards El Teide or Anaga, where distances are long. Remember that in these regions, mobile network coverage can sometimes be limited.

    Stay alert and ride defensively

The island is full of visitors from all over the world, and not everyone has experience riding in the mountains. Keep your distance, observe others, and don’t overestimate their skills. In this way, you’ll avoid unnecessary risks and ride with confidence.

Take breaks and enjoy the views

Tenerife is a place to savour slowly. Stop at scenic viewpoints, take photos, and relax whenever you wish. Riding should be a pleasure, not a race.

    Check your equipment and documents

Before setting off, make sure you have your driving licence, rental documents, and our contact number. If you need help, call us – we’re always happy to assist you.

Proper preparation and common sense will make your motorcycle adventure in Tenerife not only safe but also full of positive emotions and memories that will stay with you for years.
