description

Siam Park

Siam Park in Tenerife is the absolute number one water park in the world, covering an area of over 18 hectares. Anyone who visits Siam Park will immediately understand why it is so special. Believe it or not, it cost a staggering €52 million to build, and even a Thai princess flew in for its grand opening! Located on an elevation, the slides here are like real roller coasters. The entire architecture is designed in the style and atmosphere of Thailand, which is evident in every detail. From the names of individual attractions to the design of the smallest elements – including the speakers that play very pleasant music. Siam Park offers 18 attractions, 5 restaurants, and several shops, all surrounded by lush and stunning vegetation.

There is a wide range of attractions to choose from, and everyone will find something for themselves. There are zones both for the youngest visitors and for those seeking extreme thrills. Siam Park has broken five world records, including the highest artificial wave at 3 meters high and the longest lazy river, which is over a kilometer long. There is also a slide that offers 14 direction changes and speeds up to 18 meters per second. The most terrifying attraction for all guests is a nearly vertical, 20-meter slide where you can reach speeds of up to 80 km/h! And to make it even scarier, it passes through a shark aquarium. If you're not looking for such extreme experiences, don’t worry. There are plenty of slightly calmer attractions here. Many of them are enjoyed using multi-person rafts, which guarantees even more fun and laughter. It’s worth noting that the attractions have height limits: a minimum of 1.10 m, 1.25 m, or 1.4 m.

Loro Parque

Like any zoo, Loro Parque has its supporters and critics, but it definitely stands out from the competition and wins the hearts of tourists for a reason. Loro Parque was opened in the 1970s and initially covered an area of just over one hectare. Over the years, the park's area has increased tenfold, and it has been visited by over 40 million visitors.

"Loro" means parrot in Spanish, and indeed, it was originally a relatively small park with numerous species of parrots. Year by year, both the area and the offerings expanded. Gradually, more exotic animals were introduced to the park. However, the park owes its greatest popularity to the rare and spectacular orca shows. In addition to them, you will also find dolphins, sea lions, penguins, alligators, tigers, gorillas, and even turtles.

It’s impossible to describe all the attractions waiting for you in this place. The entire park is beautifully arranged, rich in wonderful, very lush vegetation. The attention to detail makes it a truly pleasant place to spend time. Each animal species has its own “world,” making the visit even more captivating. Additionally, you can enjoy numerous shows and screenings.

Loro Parque is a place where everyone will find something for themselves. It’s an unforgettable experience for both young and old. Emotions are guaranteed – there will be plenty of awe, laughter, and maybe even tears! It’s hard to find another place in the world where the greatest treasures of fauna and flora are so beautifully combined.
