Catamarans in Tenerife

Catamarans have two hulls floating on the ocean's surface, making them more stable than traditional yachts. We offer the catamaran cruise on two types of vessels; smaller and larger ones. The largest, officially for 188 people, allows a maximum of 120 people. That’s less than 70% of the maximum capacity to ensure tourists do not feel crowded. For the smaller one, with a maximum capacity of 120 people, only 70 people are allowed. Just remember that the smaller the yacht, the more it rocks, and thus the higher the likelihood of experiencing seasickness.

Regarding comfort, catamarans are the safest choice in this regard because even if you encounter a rough ocean, it will rock much less on a large and stable catamaran than on a pirate ship or intimate yacht. If you are unsure of your ability to handle the ocean, it is worth considering this choice, especially when traveling with children.

However, if you are unsure how you feel during cruises on a choppy ocean, where it usually rocks a bit, our shorter, three-hour catamaran whale-watching cruise might be a safer option.

Catamaran Whale Watching Cruise – Comfortable Beds (Additional Fee)

There is enough spacious seating for every participant on the catamaran. Most of these seats will be shaded during the cruise. However, there is an option to purchase an additional comfortable bed at the bow of the catamaran (at the front) in full sun (depending on size, for an extra fee of about €25.00 per double bed on the spot). Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve them in advance. In this case, the rule is "first come, first served." If you want to secure the beds, we recommend arriving 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time of the catamaran.
